Centro Cultural La Moneda extends an invitation to explore Chilean Nature and Geography through design, a collective exhibition curated by Hernán Garfias, which presents more than 60 contemporary works made between the years 2000 and 2024, by prominent Chilean authors and design studios—a total of 22 participants.
This exhibition proposes a journey through the shapes and materialities of our crazy geography, the colours and textures of the landscape and the richness of our cultural diversity. All of these elements appear in various designs created with combarbalita stone, woods such as lenga, oak and espino, plant fibres, ceramics, minerals such as copper, and also with recycled materials. Reflecting and valuing these important works with honest and raw materials from the territory is one of the main objectives of this exhibition.
The participants in this exhibition are Rodrigo Bravo; The Andes House; Pozo Marcic Ensamble (Nevenka Marcic and Patricio Pozo); DEO; Constanza Gaggero; Estefanía Johnson; Matías Ruiz; Otros Perez; JVD Estudio; Sofía Hott; Pet Lamp + Si Studio; Si Studio; Catalina Varas Daniel; Caja muebles (Catalina Varas Daniel); Luz Mendez; Estudio Cinco (Patricio Vallejos); Moblia (Stefano Dodero); Dioslascria (Mónica Vargas, Magdalena Méndez, Alejandra Simón); Agostina Branchi Studio; Dalca (Vicente Stephens); Magdalena Gili; and Maia Design (María Jesús Seguel).
